Is the Free plan really free — no credit card needed?
Yes. Free is $0 forever. You can generate quizzes, use all the study tools (flashcards, spaced repetition, streaks, the AI tutor) and browse the community library without ever paying or entering payment details.
How many quizzes do I actually get?
A month buys about 12 fresh quizzes on Free, about 150 on Student and about 330 on Pro, at 20 questions each. Underneath, generation is metered in Avi credits — 20 credits per question, so a checked 20-question quiz is 780 once the second answer-key pass is paid for — and that is what your monthly allowance divides into. Notes cost 1.5× and photos or PDFs 1.2×. Free also has a weekly pace — 4,680 credits, about 6 quizzes — so the month can't be spent in one sitting; Student and Pro have no weekly cap. Popular ATAR topics, replays and saved quizzes are unlimited and never counted.
Does paying get me a better AI?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The same model writes every quiz on every plan — there is no weaker engine on Free and no stronger one behind the paywall. What money buys is a bigger month, and whole essays marked. On every plan, a second AI independently re-solves each answer key and any question the two disagree on is dropped, and a separate pass checks each question's own figures are consistent and complete. Pro adds a second read of your marking: your work is marked twice, and where the two markers disagree the stronger read wins.
What do Student and Pro add on top of Free?
Free already marks every answer you write inside a quiz. Student is what marks a whole essay — 8 a day, criterion by criterion — and adds cheat sheets, concept maps, quizzes from notes you paste in, and about 150 20-question quizzes a month against about 12 on Free. Pro is for the trial block: about 330 20-question quizzes a month, 12 marked essays a day, 50 uploads a day (Free and Student include 5), 30-question mock exams and study insights, plus a second read of every mark you are given. Annual works out to roughly two months free, and you can change plan or cancel from your account settings.
What's the difference between an "AI quiz" and a "cached-topic" quiz?
A cached-topic quiz draws from questions we've already generated for popular ATAR subjects — always unlimited and free for everyone. An AI quiz is freshly written by the AI for your specific notes or a less-common topic. Credits count only the fresh generations.
Do I need an account to study?
No. You can generate and play quizzes without signing in. A free account adds cross-device streaks, the weekly leaderboard, and the mistake bank so you can review wrong answers anytime.
Which Australian states and subjects are covered?
All five senior secondary systems: WACE (WA), VCE (Victoria), HSC (NSW), QCE (Queensland), and SACE (SA). Most popular Year 11 & 12 subjects are available, and AI generation works for any topic you type in — including your own notes.
Is the Teacher plan free, and can I use it right now?
You can start free and stay free: a teacher account gets its own class allowance, good for about 3,470 marked submissions a month, and it never touches your own study credits. The paid plan raises that to about 5,200. Sign up as a teacher and open the teacher dashboard to build quizzes from your own material, print worksheets, run live quiz games, set homework that marks itself, and review class results.
